On day 4, we went to the Detmold City Hall to meet with the mayor. The mayor talked to our group, answered our questions, then treated us with drinks and snacks. We have all decided to vote for him during the next election. The chaperones went to have lunch and ran into the mayor again, where he fed Charlton some of his fries. Charlton decided he is going to move to Detmold and be on the campaign poster with the mayor. The students had afternoon rehearsals and some of the chaperones went shopping at a 'Costco like' store for more snacks. In the evening, we took the bus to the Burg Sternburg Castle, where everyone tried out the very old instruments, danced the Italian three steps and checked out the very deep well.
