The McLean High School Orchestra Program is seeking support for the success of the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. Founded in 1955 as part of Fairfax County Public Schools, McLean High School has a current enrollment of approximately 2,450 students, of which over 150 students are enrolled in the school’s orchestra program.
While the music programs at McLean High School are some of the strongest in the country, the goals and needs of the orchestra program always surpass the limited funding provided by FCPS. Money raised will be used for purchasing new sheet music and instruments, contribute towards our competition trip fees, support our annual German Exchange program, and hire guest artists and clinicians who can enhance the musical education of our students.
If you or your business is unable to contribute monetarily, the orchestra program also accepts donations of food items and gift cards, which can be used to support our holiday basket raffle in December and end-of-year awards banquet in May.
We have several tax-deductible donation options listed below:
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and and you will receive a receipt for your donation of any type.
We hope we can count on your support and become a patron of the MHS Orchestra program. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Your support is greatly appreciated!
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Starlet Smith, the Orchestra Director at McLean HS at [email protected], or Neda Hamandi, the Fundraising Manager, at 202-818-0490 or by email at [email protected].
