The members of the McLean HS Orchestra value and cherish our alumni. Alumni are welcome to visit the orchestra classes, however, please email Miss. Starlet Smith at [email protected] to set up a time and date for your visit. It is important that all alumni check in at the front office before visiting the orchestra room.

Help keep the McLean HS Orchestra a prominent orchestra program! Consider making a donation and joining our Patron Program. Details can be found by clicking --->HERE<---. Donations help purchase new instruments, supplies, music, scholarships towards student's spring trips, and help to provide sectional coach instruction and bring in guest lecturers.

The MHSO is also open to material donations as well, such as instruments, instrument supplies, music stands, sheet music, and uniforms. Donators have the option of making their donation tax-deductible. If you have an items you would like to donate, please contact Miss. Starlet Smith at [email protected].

The McLean HS Orchestra library possesses numerous precious records from years past. If you have an interest in accessing these various files and media sources, please contact Miss. Starlet Smith at [email protected]. Our archives include:
  • Audio recordings dating back to the 1970's. This includes vinyl records, magnetic tapes, cassette tapes, CD-ROMS, as well as MP3 files. All recordings remain as-is and have not been digitized, and must be played back using their original playback device.
  • Video recordings dating back to the 1990's, on VHS, DVD, and .WAV files.
  • Audio & video recordings of the McLean Area Orchestra.
  • Photos dating back to the 80's.
  • Newspaper articles
  • Trophies, plaques, awards, etc dating back to the 1970's.
