Ledo's Pizza Night TONIGHT

11/17/2014

Tonight is Ledo's night. Go to Ledo's on Route 7 (7510 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA 22043) and order in or take out and mention McLean HS Orchestra. MHSO will receive a portion of the proceeds, which will greatly help our finances towards the spring competition trip to Nashville and hiring sectional coaches.

Senior Regional Orchestra Concert this Sunday

11/12/2014

The Northern Virginia Senior Regional Orchestra concert will take place this Saturday at 2pm at Herndon High School. Come out support MHS orchestra students Aaliyah Booker, Tashi Gyatso, Lauren Yeom, as well as a select few MHS band members as they perform Rachmaninoff's "Vocalise," Scherzo and March from "The Love of Three Oranges" by Sergei Prokofiev, and the complete "Pictures at an Exhibition" by Modest Mussorgsky. With a program that hearty, it's sure to be a concert you will NOT want to miss.

Extra credit will be given to any student who goes to this weekend's SRO concert and brings back a program for Miss. Smith with a 1-2 page review of the concert. Such extra credit can help keep your 2nd quarter grade up, especially if you neglect to turn in practice records in a timely fashion!
