Students accepted into the 2019 Virginia All-State Orchestra

Congratulations to the following orchestra students for placing into this year’s Virginia All-State Orchestra!

Maxence Mouries (violin)
Eshan Parkash (violin)
Steve Han (cello)
Alex Haldane (bass)

Students auditioned amongst hundreds of highly skilled student musicians at James Madison University this past weekend and will perform in a special concert during the first weekend of April with students from around the state at the Dominion Energy Center for the Performing Arts in Richmond, Virginia.

The McLean High School Orchestra Program seeks to develop individual musical artistry, ensemble excellence, and promote a life-long enjoyment of music in each young person. This important goal cannot be attained without a sincere desire, effort, and commitment from each orchestra member.
