SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA 2008 PERFORMING AT DISTRICT XII FESTIVAL

This orchestra is for the more advanced string player who should be able to play three octave scales up to 3 sharps and 3 flats and should be able to play level IV or V string music. The course helps students develop technical, ensemble and disciplinary skills necessary for refined rehearsal and performance. There are five concerts performed each year and usually 2 or 3 evening rehearsals before each concert. These rehearsals and concerts are required as part of the course.

Symphonic Orchestra scored the coveted # 1 (Superior), at the District XII Orchestra Festival in March, 2008.
